Travelodge by Wyndham Depoe Bay

Fabulous customer service and very clean, comfortable rooms. The view of the oceanfront is spectacular! Coffee and snacks available in the lobby each morning at 8 am. There's nothing quite like sipping coffee on the balcony while watching the waves crash on the shore! There is some road noise but it quiets down from about 9 pm - 7 am. If it bugs you, you can always bring headphones or earplugs.

Great value for the price, rooms were very clean and spacious. Location so excellent, walk to ocean and restaurants easily. Only complains was loud from other guests in the morning, not a lot of sound proofing and our fireplace didn’t work. It is right on the highway but you can see and hear the ocean and it wasn’t too busy for traffic. Staff was nice but it would have been nice if they had offered to try and help fix the fireplace when we called, instead they just said they would look in the morning and we were only there one night. Overall great value though and clean and good parking.

The location absolutely can't be beat the balconies are awesome! The rooms however are very old and dated but clean. We had some inconsiderate neighbors but that wasn't the hotel staff fault. They do not offer breakfast here

I’m not sure how this is only a 2 star hotel. My stay was very enjoyable. It was exactly what I was looking for. I was in room 310, and while the room was small, it had all the amenities that I needed: a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, a large television and a fireplace. A perfect view of the ocean. I kept my sliding door open most of the time so I could hear the ocean waves. And although the traffic from 101 could be heard, it did not detract enough from the ocean waves to be annoying.

It's in a great location to walk to all the stores in the area. The room and beds were clean and comfortable. It even had a little balcony. The only complaint i have was we were on the first floor and sometimes we could hear the people above us.

Host upgraded room when we checked in. Location is great, oveanview. Clean modern rooms, lots of parking.

Reception friendly. Room clean and bed comfortable. From the balcony you can see the ocean (across the road). Road noise from trucks have to be ignored as the place is plenty comfortable and decent pricing for summer. Mini refrigerator and microwave in room that worked well. My recommendation would be to bring your own coffee or tea. I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here for four nights recently. Absolutely cannot say enough about the view. The rocky shoreline of Depoe Bay is directly across the street from the hotel, right outside the balcony of each room. Beautiful sunsets! The rooms were really nice, better than any Travelodge I've ever stayed in. They were clean throughout and had everything we needed. Hotel staff helped with whatever we needed, but they weren't in our business daily trying to clean our room (which we appreciated). I found a thermostat, but I'm not sure it did anything. Probably because if you open the glass sliding door to the balcony and also the front door to the room on the other side ocean air makes the room very comfortable. There was also a ceiling fan to circulate the air. Never seen that in a hotel before. Honestly, I can't find anything to complain about. There were plenty of places to walk and see great things like whales and seals in the water. This hotel is the perfect location if you want to head south to the waterfront in Newport or head north to the Tillamook factory and everywhere on between. Great experience for the family at an affordable price.
